Terms of Service

Last updated: October 16, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Kasenso POS ("Kasenso", "we", "us") for using the Kasenso web app, the Kasenso mobile apps, and the online storefront they include (together, the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are signing up for a business, you agree on behalf of that business. How we handle data is explained separately in our Privacy Policy.

Your account and your staff

  • You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live (18 in most countries) to open a business account.
  • The person who signs up is the owner and admin of that business on Kasenso. Staff accounts the owner or an admin creates belong to the business, and the business is responsible for what is done with them.
  • Keep passwords private and give each staff member their own login. Tell us promptly if you think an account has been used without permission.
  • Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep your email address current — it is how you recover the account.

Your data stays yours

Your products, recipes, stock, orders, sales, customers and staff records belong to you. You give us permission to store, copy and process them only as needed to run the service for you — syncing between devices, generating your reports, and the like. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

You can download a backup of your business data from Settings at any time, and you can delete your account and all its data from Settings → Danger Zone. Deletion is scheduled 30 days out so you can change your mind; after that it is permanent and we can't restore it.

Price

Kasenso is free to use, with no credit card and no contract. If we ever introduce paid plans or move a feature into one, we will tell you in advance, and nothing will be charged unless you choose a paid plan. Any paid plan will have its own price and terms shown to you before you agree to it.

Taxes, receipts and your records

Kasenso is a tool for running your shop. You set your own prices, tax name and tax rate, and you are responsible for charging, recording and paying the taxes that apply to your business, and for keeping the records your local rules require.

Some countries require a registered or certified cash register, or a specific official receipt format. Kasenso is not registered or certified as a fiscal device in any country, so check what your tax authority requires before you rely on Kasenso receipts as official ones.

The online storefront

When you publish a storefront, you are the seller and your customers are buying from you, not from Kasenso. You are responsible for your menu, prices, product descriptions, allergen and food-safety information, filling orders, taking payment, and handling refunds and complaints. Kasenso does not process payments for storefront orders.

Customers who order give you their name and contact details. You are responsible for using that information lawfully and only for their order or what they agreed to.

AI suggestions

Some features, such as KAISHA, use AI to write business insights, marketing posts, menu descriptions and draft recipes from your data. What they produce can be wrong — including ingredient amounts and costs. Check it before you publish it, cook from it or base a decision on it.

Acceptable use

Don't use Kasenso to:

  • sell anything illegal where you or your customers are, or break any law;
  • get into another business's data, or test, probe or overload the service without our written permission;
  • copy, resell or rebuild the service, or scrape it with automated tools;
  • upload malware, or content you don't have the right to use.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users or the service at risk. Unless the risk is urgent, we will contact you first and give you a chance to download your data.

Availability and offline use

We work to keep Kasenso running, and the app keeps taking orders without a connection and syncs when you are back online. Even so, we can't promise the service will never be interrupted, that data saved only on a device that is lost or reset before it syncs can be recovered, or that every feature will stay the same. Download a backup regularly. We may change, add or remove features, and will give notice before removing one that businesses rely on.

Our responsibility

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those in these terms, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost sales, lost profits or lost business. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.

Ending your use

You can stop using Kasenso and delete your account at any time. If we ever shut the service down, we will give you at least 30 days' notice so you can download your data.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. For a change that materially affects you, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Kasenso after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, where Kasenso is operated, without taking away any protection the law of your own country gives you as a consumer.
